So how are they learning?
Many of our students face barriers to learning in a traditional school setting. This does not mean they cannot learn, it does not mean they are not clever, it does not mean they do not have potential, it just means we, as educators have to work a little harder and smarter. If a student does not see the point in learning, then we find it with them. If a student falls behind in class, then we work at their pace. If a student feels anxious studying topics outside of their immediate interests then we plan a bespoke curriculum that includes both. If a student is struggling with their mental health to the point where school and learning seems pointless, we spend the time that they need to see the fun and promise in learning again. If the student is struggling, we find out why, and we help.
